Annual General Meeting
It is pleased to announce that following the CSKOBA 2010 Annual General Meeting held on 27th June, Sunday at CSK, a new committee was elected to serve the Association for the term of 2010/2011.

Under Clause 23(a) of the Articles of Association, one-half of the Committee who has been longest in office since last election shall retire from office and shall be eligible for re-election.

Due to some personal reasons, Timothy Ho (1981), Colin Leung (1981) and Marcus Fung (1994) decided to remain retire from the Committee and not offer to be re-elected. We appreciate their contribution towards the Association over the past years.

The other retiring Committee Members had been re-elected successfully to hold office in the coming year. Two new Committee Members on board this year : Choy Tze Kin (1985) and Markus Nam (1998). We are sure that their vast working experience in their respective field would certainly benefit the Association to a great extent.

For the office-bearer election, Ronny Tang (1979) was elected as the President of our Association and Larry Leung (1990) was elected as Vice-President, Jonathan Wong (1981) as Treasurer, and Jack Tam (1990) as Secretary serving the Association in the new term.

About 300 old boys, students, parents, teachers and friends embarked onto a boat trip in a moderate weather to Yan Chau Tong Marine Park and Tung Ping Chau. The group first visited Lai Chi Woo ecopark, an inlet area in Yan Chau Tong. It is a 400 years old walled village with a fung shui wood surrounding, now turned into a museum of the old village living.

The group dined their lunch at nearby Kat O village with very fresh and sumptuous seafood. Many of them brought back dried seafood products and locally-produced desserts.

The group then visited the outlying Tung Ping Chau after lunch. It is an island full of geologic features. Sedimentary rocks and raised wave-cut platforms are easily found throughout the island. Tourists can also find marine life such as crabs, and even sea urchins. On the way back to Ma Liu Shui ferry pier, the group took the joy of having lucky draw prizes for every participant.

2007 CSKOBA Winter Country Outing
What a great day out in the countryside with a strong “240” participants from the OBA, principals & staff, PTA and students, together with family members and friends.

Early Sunday morning on 21st January, 4 full coaches, labeled “CSKOBA Outing”, carried passengers loaded with fun and joy heading towards the Tuen Mun Reptile House. After a delicious and satisfying lunch in a local restaurant in Lau Fou Shan, the group flocked to the Hong Kong Wetland Park in Yuen Long. This obviously was the climax of the day when all members were eagerly queuing up to try to get a glimpse of “Pui Pui” - the legendary crocodile girl of Hong Kong.

Since the vacancy on this fabulous event was filled up soon before the prescribed deadline, OBA would sincerely apologize to those belated entrants. Your continual support to the OBA functions would be highly appreciated.

Annual Dinner 2006
The CSKOBA annual dinner 2006 was held on 13 Oct at Eaton Hotel on Nathan Road. More than 150 old boys, current/former teachers and guests attended the function. Unprecendently, we had a current teacher of CSK, Miss Katie Lau to be our MC. After Chris Lau, CSKOBA's president, gave the welcome speech, CSK principal Mr. Sze Kin Kwan was invited to deliver an opening address.

This year our dinner was one of the most entertaining and remarkable OBA dinners in recent years as it had music performance, prize lottery, fund-raising auction and the highlight of the night: the long distance tele-conference with ex-teacher, Mr. Liu Hin Shu, now living in Toronto and Mr Harvey Tai, co-ordinator of CSK Overseas Old Boys Network, now living in California. The evening was ended in high note as everyone vowed to come back next year.
